Gotta tell you how pleased I was that American decided to repaint their fleet of B757s. There was talk it would not happen but this example is here, both in 400 and 200 scale from GJ.
The aircraft was delivered to AA May 16, 2001, registered May 17, 2001, winglets were added Aug 23, 2014 and received the new paint job Sept. 16. 2014 at Roswell, NM.
Some of the wonderful features of this model include rolling tires, WIFI antenna, and other antennas on the top and bottom of the fuselage. The nose and cock pit shape is spot on . The colors are matched beautifully with the real aircraft.
Passenger windows and doors are marked nicely on the model. The emergency egress arrows on the wings add another detail to the model. The engines are shaped correctly and the landing gear have rolling tires and are scaled properly. Cargo bay doors are marked clearly on the model. Warning lights on the top and bottom of the fuselage three denominational and almost glow.
The GJ mould for the B757-200 is very good overall.
