What a beautiful model! It shinny polished metal is a great canvas to place the American Airlines colors. And the details on this model are also wonderfully done.
On the top of the shiny fuselage there is an antenna and the red warning light. There is an object that looks like WIFI but this aircraft flew back in the early to mid-90s so it may not be a WIFI module.
The AA logo on the tail is perfectly placed and the right colors and size. The American flag tops off the tail and is scaled correctly.
This aircraft was named Luxury Liner. (Makes me think of Emmylou Harris!) The blue white and red cheat line is placed and colored correction. The passenger windows are aligned with in the blue part of the line.
On the wings the warning lights are visible but I did not see landing lights. Cargo bay doors are clearly marked.
I am happy to add this one to my 200 scale AA fleet. I still can't get used to the new/current colors and these are the ones I will always remember. They had them for more than 40 years. (Posted on 7/28/2015)
