Highly detailed Hobby Master pre-painted diecast metal model B-26 Invader, No. 844, 34 Sqn., ROCAF, 1958 Item#: HA3222 Scale: 1:72 Length: 8.25" Wingspan: 11.75" In 1958 the RoCAF 34th Squadron (Black Bats) was formed and supplied with U.S. made aircraft with the sole goal of flying low-altitude night reconnaissance flights over mainland China. When the 34th Squadron was disbanded in 1974 they had flown 838 recon missions, dropped agents into mainland China, gathered tons of valuable data and photos and were deemed a success. But this came with the loss of 148 aircrew and 15 aircraft. Three of the aircraft that took part in the operation were A-26C/B-26C with serials 844, 862 and 888.
