CF-CPM was the first DC-8 ever built by the Douglas Aircraft Company. It first took off on May 30th 1958 with FAA registration N8008D. Crowds of as many as 50,000 gather that morning in Long Beach California for the test flight.
Before bearing the Aztec warrior AeroMexico livery, this frame flew for Canadian Pacific airlines with registration CF-CPM as “Empress of Santiago” in the 1960’s.
AeroClassics is a line of die-cast aircraft models in 1/200 scale to complement with other manufacturers products. One of AeroClassics goals is to provide the scale aircraft collecting community, classic prop liners and jetliners which would otherwise never be produced.
Comes fully assembled, pre-painted with rolling landing gears.
