A truly revolutionary
aircraft, the Horten Ho 229,
which was the first pure
flying wing powered by
jet engines, received a production order and likely would
have seen service had the war continued into 1946.
This model of one of the three prototype Ho 229 fighter/bombers
constructed for flight testing is just as creative as the originals,
right down to the flying wing body and realistic jet engines. 9¼" wingspan.
1/72 scale, resin models of experimental wonders dreamed up
by Germany’s leading engineers in response to Adolf Hitler’s call for cutting-edge
aircraft provide collectors with something unlike anything else available today.
Each limited edition, newly tooled model features finely textured surfaces, a
glazed canopy, a camouflage paint scheme with markings, and a display stand.
They’re certain to be a hit with WWII and aviation enthusiasts
