Just when you thought maybe there are no more Pan Am's to do, GJ comes out with a new star for the fleet, Jet Clipper Betsy Ross. This air frame first flew May 2, 1967 and was delivered to Pan American World Airways May 10, 1967. It was leased out in 1983 and was converted to a freighter Dec., 1984. It flew through 2001with the last owner Emery Worldwide Airlines. This replica features the fully written out Pan American although it also flew for them using just the Pan Am designation. The mould is near perfect with a well shaped nose and cockpit areas, windows properly place the black nose and spot on Pan Am colors. Scaled landing gear ad to detail along with cargo bay doors the perfect Pan Am meatball, tail number and American flag on the tail. Landing lights and warning lights are part of the small details that will make this a great edition to the many 400 scale Pan Ams that have been done. (Posted on 7/28/2012)
