Inflight Models USAF E-4A B-747-200B 73-1677 Dooms Day flying white house
This is a mile stone in model making. The wire antenna has not been done on any other models. Hopefully the folks in make prop airliners will take this new effort to heart.

This E-4A is one of four units maintained by the U. S. Air Force for the dooms day scenario in which the president, his cabinet escape a nuclear holocaust or other significant even in which the US government has to be maintained

Inflight Models has published three of the four real aircraft.

This model does not have the blue under the cockpit as depicted in several photos but other details are par for model making.

On the top of the fuselage there are numerous antennas. The wire from the tail to the center of the aircraft's is a first in model making.

On the sides of the fuselage four doors are shown. On the doors are marking too tiny to see but add to the detail of the model.

There are few windows on the E-4A, most being covered to protect from nuclear blasts.

The wind shield wipers under the cockpit add additional well depicted details to the model. On the wings are lights and warning lights. The early models of the B747-200 had wing antennas trailing the wings. The tail antennas are included. It took many versions of the Air Force one before these became common.

The landing gear is scaled properly.. There are rolling rubber tires. Would like to see Inflight improve the hub caps to show rivets. Nose gear has landing lights. ere are numerous antennas on the bottom of the fuselage. Main gear details are well done but here again hub camps could be improved.

The engines are near perfect . The stand has the type of aircraft, scale affixed to it.

This is an A+ model. I look forward to when they put out the 4th tail number. Toughest part of this is finding space for these large models in my displays.
