Hogan 200 P-3C Orion 161594 / LL-594 (cn 285E-5768) VP-30 "Pro's Nest" NAS Jacsonville, FL
I was blown away when I took this one out of the box. Compared to recent Inflight releases this model is superior in man ways. Number one to me is there is so much more detail on this model than on the IF version of the P-3. This squadron flew out of Jacksonville NAS, FL. There are seven images on A-net: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?cx=partner-pub-8297169501225184%3Aa05n2n-tzky&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=594+P-3&sa=Submit&search_active=1&search=&sheadline=&search_field=datedesc&submit=&siteurl=www.airliners.net%252Fsearch%252Fphoto.search%253Faircraft_genericsearch%253DLockheed%2520P-3%2520Orion%2526distinct_entry%253Dtrue which back up the fact that Hogan has blown IF out of the water in details. Multiple antenna are on the Hogan 200 version. The landing gear are scaled and realistic. The tail antenna is shaped properly and has the proportional length that the IF version does not have. The Hogan version has a set of self defense rockets on each wing. The model has bubble windows on the fuselage. The cockpit is perfectly shaped with the real aircraft. It is interesting that two model companies would make moulds for basically the same aircraft. There are only a few examples of P-3s so from marketing standpoint you got to wonder what they were thinking. Review by James F (Posted on 7/24/2011)
