Backwards nose gear
Beautiful aircraft, and a very good model. I would have called it a great model and given it five stars, but, and this may be an isolated case, my particular model arrived with the nose gear assembly installed backwards. Phoenix pays very close attention to creating the details on all of their models, and on this one, you can clearly see the steering actuators on the assembly but instead of facing forward, they face aft. It's quite unnoticable but to the keen eye. I am leaving the model as is; I don't want to take the chance of breaking the gear assembly by trying to correct it. The FedEx T7 Panda is one of my favorites. Review by FVS 250R (Posted on 2/4/2013)

Phoenix 400 Federal Express Boeing 777-FS2 N892FD (cn 38707/960) Panda
I have many models in my collection. Many are from different manufactures. PHX products have always been on the high end of my scale and this addition to the FedEx collection is a very nice addition. The aircraft brought two pandas Paris Jan. 15, 2012. There are more than a dozen images of this aircraft on A-net and from ever angle PHX seems to have caught the proper shape of the nose and cockpit windows. The panda is stunning and a perfect reproduction to the original. I love the landing gear on this model. Perfectly shaped, the nose gear features the ETOPS designation and the 892 fleet number. The tires roll on the nose and main gears. What I think gives the gear a leg up is that you can see the lug nuts on the hub caps. Cargo bay doors are marked with main doors as well as the standard cargo doors found on B772s. The colors for this model are spot on with the original. For fleet builders this model bring us more than 30 individual models in the 400 scale. Nice! Review by James F (Posted on 3/14/2012)
