With 4 countries involved it is necessary to have what they call Tranches (similar to contracts) that are broken down into batches and blocks. By the end of 2018 sixty one of the seventy three Eurofighters ordered by the Ejército del Aire (Army of the Air - Spanish Air Force) had been delivered. Ala 14 was fully operational with the Eurofighter by 2013. EF2000 C.16-48 MSN 11-28/14-12 Serial SS029 was manufactured in 2011.
