N7014U C/N 18306 took its first flight in March 1964 and was delivered to United the following month April 1964. After serving with United for 28 years this aircraft was delivered to Aero Controls Inc where it was stored and withdrawn from use and then broken up in the same year for scrap .

N7014U first flew March 10, 1964. It was delivered to Untied Airlines April 7, 1964 and registered Oct. 7, 1969 and flew for them through Feb. 10 1993 going over to Aero Controls Inc and then later scraped April 18, 1996. Started out with Stars and Bars livery. Other than the nose could be a little more pointed and longer this model is just fine. The cockpit shape and windows are well done. You can see the wind shield wipers. The landing gear is also well done with fleet number on the nose covers, hub caps with simulated bolts and rolling tires. Antennas, warning lights and landing lights further add more details. The passenger doors and windows are crisp. The engine shapes are good. I am glad to add to my 200 scale Saul Bass models this replica. (Posted on 8/26/2011)
