This model from AV200 is quite an improvement over the Hogan version from some years ago.
Just to name a few things that are superior including three antennas on top of the fuselage, the addition of the jet packs on the sides of the fuselage, the prop size looks more correct and the paint scheme also looks more correct than the Hogan version.
I found myself wondering if maybe Hogan;s version was at a particular time in the history of this aircraft that was not the same as the AV version.
The model represents very correctly the nose shape, the cockpit windows and shape. The Blue Angels printed in blue on the white on the upper fuselage really stands out nicely and they have mastered the font and size very well.
The landing gear is properly scaled and it is good to see AV200 went to the effort to make some details on the hub caps on the tires. The back door can be displayed opened or closed.
This model will join my Hogan version and also the Blue Angels Connie they used before putting Fat Albert into use. (Posted on 6/6/2015)
