Indian Head Western
This has long been on my wish list so when an indian head Western appeared out of nowhere by WM I pounced. Then not even a week later IF comes out with a preorder one. Years of waiting and now flooded. The IF model is a bit better for reasons such as a jewelled beacon and the flight surfaces are better detailed but their preorders take so long and never arrive on their ETA so I stuck w/WM's. I like their style, they don't preorder, they just surprise you and dump em out there. I chose the straight pipe which is the same as the IF version. Being from the west coast Western Air was a big part of our sky. Again the WM/AC200 alliance is bringing out the vintage paint jobs I crave. Next hopefully will be an early 60's (non sunface) National. Or, maybe some of the props I've seen in AC400 form in 200 scale. I saw some Mexicana 7's a year ago I would've died for in 200 (my scale). Review by Ernesto (Posted on 1/17/2016)
