Model is approximately 6 1/2 inches long with 2 1/2 inch wingspan. This Aircraft was the first of 10 TU144S aircraft and was delivered to Aeroflot in 1975. IN total this aircraft flew 180 flights before being parked at Kazan, the capital of the Russian Republic of Kazan, where the aircraft is on display on the grounds of the Kazan State Technical University to this day. Today, one of the Soviet supersonic aircraft is exhibited at the German Technikmuseum Sinsheim. The TU-144D was powered by four Kolesov RD-36 engines, recognizable by the cone-shaped nozzles at the engine outlet.
