When AV200 issued their "black meatball" edition of Continental DC-10-30 they also issued this red meatball version. The mould features some very nice details. Well marked are the cargo bay doors and their door handles. The landing gear is detailed and features rolling rubber tires. The nose gear has the fin number painted on the gear covers. Passenger windows are printed sharp and crisp. The nose shape matches the images well as does the cockpit window placement. There are several scaled antennas on the model. The engines have spinning blades. This aircraft also flew in the Gold and blue globe livery. In March, 2001 it was placed in storage. Prior to going to work for Continental is aircraft flew for Spantax Airlines and also Swissair (Posted on 4/5/2011)
