F-84G Thunderjet No. 27 Squadron, 10th Tactical Wing, Belgian Air Force Scale 1:72 Die Cast Model The straight-wing F-84G - the first production fighter-bomber with in-flight refueling capability and the first with the ability to deliver a nuclear weapon - entered service in 1951, with 1,936 of the 3,025 built transferred to NATO countries in Europe. Starting in 1952, 213 F-84Gs (serials FZ-1 to FZ-213) were supplied to Belgium. Replicating an F-84G Thunderjet flown by the Belgian Air Force's No. 27 Squadron "Black Panthers," 10th Tactical Wing, this 1/72 scale, die cast SkyMax model features engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit with a glazed canopy, prototypical wingtip fuel tanks, optional-position landing gear, and authentic markings, including the 10th Tactical Wing's "red lion" crest on the tail. Measures approximately 6¼" long with a 6" wingspan and includes a display stand.
