Built in 1966 this aircraft flew for a short time for Hawaiian Air from Nov., 1966 through Oct., 1968 and later went to several other carriers through 1997. This was part of Hawaiian inter-island backbone in the 1960s till regular jets came in to use later in the airlines' history . These 4 pointed turbo props served the airline till the full scale jet engines came into play in the '70s. The fleet number 45 is on the tail of the model rather than the nose cover but this is verified in the photo image of the plane. The nose and cockpit windows look correct. The passenger windows are marked correctly as are the pax doors. Warning lights are on the fuselage and wing tips. I love props. (Posted on 7/16/2012)
