The Aer Lingus Commuter airlines used these aircraft to shuttle around the UK, Ireland and over to the mainland. This air frame eventually was converted to a cargo aircraft and went on to work for Miniliner, The model has the white shamrock on green. That shade of green is very attractive in conjunction with the blue, dark blue and white colors of the fuselage. The six pointed props spin with just a breath of air and the landing gear tires roll. You can only imagine taking a flight over Ireland in this plane with the wing on top of the fuselage giving passengers a great view of the green hills below. The model joins a growing number of 400 scale Aer Lingus replicas. (Posted on 11/16/2010)
