This tiny little model is filled with details on such a small object. The final colors of Northwest are perfectly depicted. Tiny scaled landing gear, rolling tires and spinning props all provide the aspects of collecting we like to see in a model. The aircraft was built in 1996 and has flown for several regional airlines. The nose, cockpit and cockpit windows are spot on. The printing of the passenger windows is sharp. This model is a wonderful addition to an airport diorama featuring NWA in its final colors before being absorbed by Delta. I love placing my model next to one of NWA's DC-10. What a study in contrast for size. In 2011 the plane was taken over by US Airways. (Posted on 11/10/2012)
