AVIATION 200 Northwest DC-10-40 Polished N145US
Polished metal so shinny you can see your face in it on this model. This three holer is a great addition to the NWA 200 scale collection. I think there are now 5 or 6 DC-10s the Northwest Orient colors and the colors that followed. I believe Inflight's first DC-10 as a Northwest Airlines.

Made in 1972 the aircraft first flew Dec. 15, 1972. It was delivered to Northwest Jan 1, 1973 and was registered by NWS March 12, 1973. It was retired Sept. 5, 2002 and parked at Greenville, MS airport. The registration was canceled Nov. 1, 2002.

On the top of the fuselage there is a warning light and a forward antenna. The engine and tail are painted in red. This red color appears to be darker than the previous NWA models.

The tail engine is properly shaped . There are no markings on the tail conforms to the images on Airliners.net. On the fuselage the Northwest is corectly marked. Note that this aircraft at one time carried a Northwest Orient label.

The passenger windows and passenger doors are marked clearly and crisply on the model. The reg number is placed correctly a little forward of the rear door.

The cockpit is correctly shaped, the cockpit windows are lined up correctly and the model carries a black nose as in the images on A-net.

Cargo bay doors are marked on the polished metal of the fuselage.
