- Delta Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30 1:200
-
Seems like just about every new edition of a model we are getting a little more detail. The model has antennae and lights marked well. Cargo bays are delineated on the top and bottom of the model. Tires and landing gear are scaled properly. The only negative thing for me is the stand. The plastic broke. I don't know if the metal that fits into the plastic is too big or if there is something else happening with this stand and other GJ stands. They need to be redesigned because I have seen four of them break and the frequency is too high.
Registration N1295L eventually became a movie star in the movie Cliff Hanger. Right after the movie the aircraft was parted out (1993). There are only six pictures on A-net. By the way, this is the third version of a 1:200 scale Delta Widget DC-9-32. Other other two were made by Inflight200 and InflightLE. All three models have different registration numbers.
