This model is one of 11 that Aeroclassics made in a very short run. There are only 24 copies of each model. N6800 is in the lightning bolt livery for this model but later carried the modern colors of American that were initiated in the 1960s. N6800 went to the US. Postal Service and later to Benin Golf Air (XU-RKG). After its passenger stint with AA the Post Office modified the aircraft to F. XU-RKG was parked and in storage in 2008. The model features much details in landing gear, cockpit and passenger windows. Also well marked are the cargo bay doors and the PAX access doors. The over the wing escape routes are marked and add further detail to this model. It is ideal for fleet collectors as this registration number has not been previously published. (Posted on 11/27/2010)
