Aeroclassics 400 Northwest Airlines B720-051B N736US Chrome Belly (cn 18792/381)
N736US came to Northwest in the 1960s and flew for them through 1974 then went on to other airlines. Eventually it ended up in the bone yard and was used as a storage "building" for spare parts: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Boeing-720-051B/0055522/L/&sid=b0be5097d0a3cf6b7a3762ad516a5d53 The Aeroclassic mould is near perfect. The nose shape and cockpit shape is right on track. The model features scaled landing gear with a great deal of detail. The cargo bay doors look great on the chrome belly back drop. The words "fan jet" are printed on the fuselage behind the cockpit. The American flag is displayed right next to the registration number. Passenger windows and passenger doors are share and crisp. This model joins more than 100 400 scale Northwest models in various liveries of their history. Review by James F (Posted on 4/8/2011)
