Hobby Master 200 United airlines B-377-10-34 Stratocruiser Mainliner "Hawaii" N31225
You don't get to see too many color pictures of aircraft from this era: http://www.airlinefan.com/airline-photos/1562924/United-Airlines/Boeing/377-Stratocruiser/N31225/ This is the only image on Airliners.net: http://www.airliners.net/photo/United-Airlines/Boeing-377-10-34-Stratocruiser/1944423/L/&sid=9a0b7a8855425355da3a4168904533f6 N31225 was the first of seven Stratocruisers delivered to UAL during late 1949 and early 1950. N31225 served UAL from 28 Sept. 28, 1949 until sale to BOAC as G-ANTX on Dec. 29, 1954. I find this reproduction to be nearly spot on. There may be just a slight displacement of the United log on the fuselage below the cockpit but it is minor. Cockpit windows on the model are good. There is an antenna behind the cockpit that adds detail as well as the glass dome that navigators used to take position measurement. The tires on this model appear to be the correct size and roll. The hubs show the lug bolts which is a neat extra. Windows on the model are correctly positioned as are the passenger doors. The spinning props are tipped in red, white and blue.
