Wow! This model is of a B747 that has flown all its life for United and through the many colors since it was built in 1999. It made its first flight July 7, 1999, delivered to United on August 2, 1993 and was registered August 4, 1999 N127UA. This is a good example of GJ paying attention to details that make a great replica. Landing gear are scaled and roles, the nose gear covers have the fleet number on them. The cargo bays are clearly printed as are the passenger doors and windows. Engines are shaped properly as is the nose and cockpit windows. On this model the landing lights really stand out as they are so big on the aircraft. There are warning lights on the wings and tail and on the fuselage. (Posted on 8/6/2011)
