The A330, even in 400 scale is a giant. This is AC's latest addition in their new 330 mould. The Star Alliance look funny on the model. It is perfectly depicted but the model has the six logos of the Star Alliance on the fuselage. Built in 1997 and delivered to Air Canada April 29, 1997 and converted to Star Alliance colors May, 2008 the aircraft still flies in these colors. The colors on this aircraft are unusual in that they show all six of the Star Alliance member's logos rather than the standard depiction withe "Star Alliance" on the fuselage. The model has very clearly marked passenger and passenger doors. The cargo bay doors also standout nicely on the white fuselage color. If you look at the model closely you can see the door handles on the pax doors and on the cargo doors. Landing gear is scaled properly and the nose gear cover has the fleet number printed on it. The cockpit windows and cockpit shape are correct. This is another addition to my Air Canada collection with more than 30 other 400 scale models in this and current ice blue colors.
