This aircraft was built in 1958 and took its first flight under West Coast Airlines Dec. 1958. WCA merged with Air West and several other airlines in April, 1968. The history of the air frame is not very clear after the merger with several other airlines operating it through the mid-1980s. The Aeroclassic mould is quite good. The nose shape is pretty but some images of the F-27 seem like the nose is a little bit longer than the models. The Red and Pink liver of Air West painted on a white fuselage. The passenger window shape looks very good. These windows are round. Spinning props, rolling tires are another fine detail of the model. Passenger doors are clearly marked. (Posted on 12/3/2012)
