I think if you painted the American Airlines colors on a banana it would look good. This model's AA colors on to of the polished metal is beautiful. You can see yourself in the reflection. (Use gloves to handle this model as finger prints can easily attach to the polished metal surface.) The model features some of the best detail I have seen on a nose gear. There are anntenas on the model and warning lights on the fuselage and the wing tips. Placement of the logos and flag on the tail are spot on. The windows are printed clearly and the passenger doors are marked with handles and other markings to fine to read. At first look I had some concern about the cockpit windows but after examining several images of this plane they are okay. Cargo bay doors are also marked. (Posted on 4/5/2011)
