It is a pleasure to welcome another B727 in one of the Northwest Airline liveries. This B727-200 is replicated in the last livery that all the NWA 727s flew in...the gray and red Bowling Shoe livery. It is a smart looking paint job, for sure. The nose gear cover on the model carries the fleet number 203. The landing gear on this model is well done. The nose shape and cockpit area are very accurate when compared with the images. The model sport several antenna, warning lights and landing lights to further add detail. The passenger doors and windows are clearly printed. The major colors on the model are spot on. This aircraft first flew Dec. 11, 1980 and was delivered to Jan. 7, 1981 in Northwest Orient colors. The plane was registered Feb. 13, 1981.
