This MD-90-30 was built in 1993, making its first flight Aug. 27, 1993 under the registration N902DA. The aircraft was delivered to June 5, 1995 and registered N901DA July 13, 1995. During its lifetime with Delta it managed to get paint jobs from the Delta widget colors to the current colors. The Jet-X MD-8x mould is quite sleek and beautiful The nose shape is near perfect the cockpit windows are placed properly. The windshield wipers further add to the replica. There are multiple antennas, warning lights and landing lights. The current livery colors are perfectly matched on the model. The landing gear look scaled and accurate. The fleet number is an added detail on the nose gear covers. Passenger doors and windows are crisply printed and the flag and registration number are properly placed. Emergency egress arrows are painted on the wings bringing more detail to the model. (Posted on 7/30/2011)
