This first Delta Air Lines Boeing 767-200 is a very special aircraft both for the employees and for society itself. Following the idea of three flight attendants, the workforce collected the purchase price of 30 million US dollars for the first Boeing 767 in 1982, which they donated to the airline. After more than 32 years of service, the "Spirit of Delta" was handed over to the Delta Flight Museum at its home airport in Atlanta-Hartsfield.
