Wow, that's the first thing you'll say with this model. The box is large, the model is large, the weight is hefty and it continues. The graphics are spot on, love all the instrument probes and the way Gemini still puts external marker lights and antennae on their models. Love that you can have the gear extended or retracted. A new trick for Gemini, the deployed gear have small magnets that attach to the gear wells. This allows for quick gear changes and adds some reassurance that the gear will stay in place. My gripes, all minor but still present. The front of the aircraft has an awkward slope from the top to the cockpit and then around the radar. This seems more accented on the model than the actual aircraft. The engines, while large, could have a little more detail in the blades or aft section or both. Finally, the graphics/paint on the wings are excellent, but the recessed lines and control surfaces could use the detail that comes on Gemini's smaller aircraft. Over-all, this is a very large, heavy aircraft you'll want for the center piece of any major airport scene or collection. keep up the good work EZ-Toys and Gemini. (Posted on 2/26/2013)
