After serving with National, the aircraft went on to Pan Am after they took over National (January, 1980) and then after Pan Am "Clipper Celestial Empire (PA folded in 1984) (using N83NA registration number ) AA flew this aircraft as N142AA. Only 144 pieces were made by Inflight. The aircraft differs for the other example made by IF (N81NA) in that this one has a polished belly rather than a white belly. The model features rolling tires on scaled landing gear. The size of the model allows for many small details like the tiny windows in the passenger doors. Antenna are on top and bottom of the aircraft. You can see the windshield wipers. The cock pit is reproduced in reasonable shape to the 1:1. (Posted on 1/11/2011)
