Customer Reviews
Inflight 200 Northwest Airlines DC-10-30/ER N240NW 1240 (cn 48319/438) final colors
The very first Inflight DC-10-30 was a Northwest Airlines in their battleship gray and red. I love that model and the colors. This one is also high on my list of DC-10s. Inflight has captured the nose shape correctly in this model. The cockpit winds are reproduced well. You can see tiny windshield wipers below the windows. The landing gear and tires match well with the multitude of images on Airliners.net. Engines are shaped properly. Passenger doors and windows are reproduced correctly. This plane came to NWA April, 1998. This aircraft operated last for NWA, MSP-HNL, Jan 7, 2007 and was the last NWA DC-10 flown. Sometime in early 2005 the plane was painted in the NWA final colors, carrying the battleship gray prior to that time. In the late 1990s this aircraft also flew for Thai Airways. The aircraft currently is flying for Omni Air International. Review by Customer J.W. Colorado (Posted on 7/25/2011)
