This aircraft was built in 1959 and was delivered to Pacific April, 1959. It became part of Air West after the April, 1968 merger. This aircraft later merged with Hughes Air West and was painted in the banana yellow colors. The aircraft later went on to several other airlines and was withdrawn from use Oct., 1992. The Aeroclassic F-27 mould is pretty good. Perhaps the nose could be a touch longer but the cockpit shape and cockpit windows are correct. The oval shaped passenger windows show up well on the red cheatline. Spinning props and rolling tires add to the details of the replica. This is a great contribution to the California and west coast airline history. (Posted on 12/3/2012)
