Tarom IL-62M YR-IRE Herpa 534000 scale 1:500 Highly detailed Herpa Wings dieacst metal model In 1973, the Romanian airline received its first of a total of five IL-62 long-haul jets. It was not until 1999 that the last IL-62M was decommissioned. The 60 aircraft were active late in the 1970s, TAROM had the largest fleet of all Eastern Bloc countries after Aeroflot. Aircraft: Ilyushin IL-62M Item: HE529167 529167 1:500 scale. Each model is very collectible and all regular releases have limited production lines. Features include rolling rubber landing gear tires, and visible antenna.
