This is an exciting period in model collection. Last year we had no B720's in 200 scale, now we have three companies pumping them out.

I have loved the last livery of Western Airlines, the Flying W on a white fuselage till it was gobbled up in a merger with Delta in 1972. This acquisition and that of Northeast Airlines made Delta a truly national coverage airline in the U. S.

This is a near perfect model from the details of antennas to the accurate reproduction of the Western colors. The cockpit shape, cockpit windows and nose are spot on with the real aircraft.

The passenger windows and doors are clearly marked. The windows are in a dark gray. The cargo bay doors are marked clearly on the white back drop of the fuselage.

The engine pylons meet the wings seamlessly and the engines are correctly shaped. Rolling rubber tires on scaled landing gear are another feature of this model.

The actual aircraft was the last one Boeing produced in the B720 model. It was built in 1967 and broken up at Goodyear Airport July, 1991.
