Customer Reviews
Inflight 200 WestJet B737-281/ADV C-GVWJ (cn 21768/586)
The aircraft was built in 1979 coming from Boeing to ANA as JA8454 and was delivered to WestJet Dec. 1999. In 2006 the aircraft was sold to Apollo Aviation and stored after Nov., 2006. WJ modernized with newer B737s and got rid of the -200s. The Inflgiht mould is very nice. It has landing lights, warning lights on the wings. There are several antennas. Passenger doors and windows are clearly printed. The cockpit shape, cockpit windows and the nose of the model are near perfect. IF has captured correctly the WJ colors. Cargo bay doors as well as the rest of the printing stand out nicely with the white WJ background color on the model. Engines are correctly shaped and the landing gear correctly scaled, featuring rolling tires. The fleet number is printed on the nose gear covers. I have a real soft spot in my heart for WestJet. This registration number was later assigned to another WJ aircraft, a B737-7CT. They have grown amazingly quickly and have given Air Canada a real run for their money in the often bitter competition for Canadian passenger and freight service in a very much David and Goliath fight for air travel. This model joins the other 200 scale WJ model in my 200 scale collection. Review by James F (Posted on 9/19/2012)
